(1/11/11) Well done to all swimmers at Rushmoor Royals L1 Open Meet on 29/30 October. Some great PBs and valuable experience of swimming in a 50m pool. A special mention for medal winners Harry James (Gold: 100m Breaststroke, Silver: 50m Breaststroke) and Daniella Springett (Silver: 50m Butterfly, 50m Breaststroke, 50m Freestyle). 6/6/11 Congratulations to the team of swimmers who travelled to Dunstable on Saturday 4th June to take part in the first round of the MK mini-league. We are in Division 1 this year so the competition is of a much higher standard. Our swimmers put in a great performance and even without a full team we finished a respectable 5th.

9/5/11 On Sunday 8th May 5 Wantage swimmers competed for Oxon and North Bucks at the Kingerlee Gala.

Cordelia, Daniel, Ellia, Katie and Todd are pictured with the Oxon and North Bucks County President Sally-Anne Clavaud.

Ellia swam the 10 year old individual 50m Butterfly and the fly leg of the IM relay. Daniel, Cordelia, Katie and Todd all swam in the freestyle relays. All of our swimmers swam really well. It was very exciting and a very close finish: Oxon and North Bucks were second, with Warwickshire taking the trophy by just 3 points.
