On 23rd December the club held a Christmas fun gala. After a great evening, Ellie's Elves were the eventual winners with Anna's Angels in second place and Rachel's Reindeers in third. Harry's Little Helpers, Matty's Maids and The Merry Muzzas all swam well. There were many memorable swims particularly in the over 20s category!! Well done to Harry James and Daniella Springett who were swimming at the South East ASA Winter Regionals this weekend (3/4 December). Harry took 2 bronze medals in the Junior championship (100m Breaststroke, 50m Backstroke) with 4th place in the 200m Breastroke and 200m IM, 5th place in the 50m Breaststroke and 7th in the 100m Backstroke. Daniella also had great swims with bronze in the Junior 50m Butterfly and 9th in the 50m Breaststroke. |
